Help with Hybrid Camcorder?

so i plug in my camcorder that didnt come with a software and the computer automatically starts playing it as a video called: J and its blank ..i have previously put videos on to my computer and it works but this time it isnt working i dont know why...i need it urgently so please help...and ya the computer recognizes it has a DVD and again i dont know why....plz help ASAP
