How long does a Nissan last? Reliability?

A $500 repair bill (which sounds like a worst-case for this scenario) is a lot easier to deal with than 48 car payments of $200-400. Keep it. (I have an 11-year-old Nissan product, on its second starter, second alternator and second A/C compressor.)
